Experiencing increased anxiety during the Corona outbreak is normal. However, this can be reduced by limiting your exposure to virus related media. Try to build structure into your day if you are housebound, such as creating a timetable for showers, meals, work, creative activities, information updates, remote contact with friends, family and colleagues. Free guided meditations, available on YouTube and Headspace, can ease anxiety and help induce sleep for a busy mind. Try to look for any benefits in your new situation - such as time for reading, music, crafts, exercise etc. Make use of technology to contact friends and family remotely. If you are able to offer help to others, do so. I am offering telephone sessions, emails, Skype and WhatsApp video calls during these unusual times. Text or call 07877 639462 or email helen@suffolk-counselling.org for more information.
Kindest regards, Helen

Sometimes I bury my head in his favourite jumper and smell him. I miss him so much.” Her distress is almost tangible. Daphne goes on to explain how
