Are you totally fed up with repeating unwanted and negative responses or behaviours?
To change unwanted behaviours, limiting thought patterns, uncomfortable feelings, take responsibility for your health, reduce stress responses, etc. will require belief work, because what we believe creates the reality we experience.
Children's uninformed perspective of their experiences creates their belief systems about self, about others and about the world in general. These early beliefs become a part of their identity and continue into adult life - invisibly lying in the background, but affecting the adult's self-image, decision making and the ability to form trusting relationships; thus, creating very tight restrictions on a person's ability to fulfil their potential. The person doesn't realise their unhappiness is caused by a host of background limiting beliefs, instead they think, 'that's just how I am. I've always been this way.'
Of course, there are beliefs created after childhood, but those beliefs we usually have conscious awareness of and, consequently, it is easier to address and change them. It is the invisible limiting beliefs installed during very early childhood that cause the biggest problems.
